OBJECTIVES: The authors sought to determine the cost-effectiveness of sotagliflozin in patients with diabetes and recent worsening of heart failure.

RESULTS: Lifetime quality-adjusted life-years (QALYs) were 4.43 and 4.04 in the sotagliflozin and placebo groups, respectively, and lifetime costs were 20,113 and 88,198 in the sotagliflozin and placebo groups, respectively. The point estimate incremental cost-effectiveness ratio was 1,823 per QALY gained. The probability of being cost-effective was 3.6%, 67.5%, and 89.4% at willingness-to-pay thresholds of 0,000, 00,000, and 50,000, respectively, per QALY gained.
