Who can we save after an intraprocedural catastrophe during TAVR?.

Copyright (c) 2018 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Intraprocedural catastrophes during transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) are associated with a high mortality. Even "operable patients" can suddenly be deemed inoperable during an intraprocedural TAVR complication. The low incidence of a major complication prevents "crowd learning"; consequently, a high-volume TAVR center will have the greatest capability for a robust salvage response.
