We describe a case in which a patient had a short ostial left anterior descending artery stenosis and hyperkinetic left ventricle, resulting in significant movement of the stent inside the vessel lumen during the cardiac cycle. Intracoronary adenosine was used to create temporary heart block to enable accurate stent implantation.
