Infectious aetiologies were excluded and the patient was treated with oral corticosteroids, which ameliorated but did not completely reverse the cholestasis. We review the differential diagnosis of hepatic granulomas and discuss the potential difficulties in establishing their exact aetiology in patients with CD.
